The Sultanate of Oman has reaffirmed its deep concern for the safety of Omani citizens participating in the Fleet of Steadfastness, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring their well-being and safe return home.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, Oman declared that it is closely monitoring the situation and working diligently—through its partners and diplomatic channels—to guarantee the security of its nationals and facilitate their return.
The Sultanate further called for the protection of all participants in the fleet and urged that no harm befall them. Reiterating its principled humanitarian stance, Oman appealed to the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities, to pressure the occupying forces to cease their repeated violations, and to allow the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
