In a touching scene overflowing with compassion and humanity, the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 in Cairo hosted a heartfelt celebration attended by H.E. Mr. Tarek Ali Faraj Al Ansari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, along with his accompanying diplomatic delegation.
The event symbolized the shared humanitarian bridge between Qatar and Egypt, reaffirming the hospital’s timeless mission: “Childhood Without Cancer.”

Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga, CEO of the 57357 Group, warmly received the ambassador and his delegation. During the celebration, H.E. Al Ansari announced a new donation from Qatar Charity to support treatment programs for children battling cancer—continuing a legacy of benevolence and cooperation between the two nations.

The visit also marked the inauguration of Qatar Charity’s projects within the hospital, which have significantly enhanced its infrastructure and medical services for young patients. The ambassador then unveiled a commemorative plaque honoring the State of Qatar, celebrating Doha’s longstanding contribution to the hospital’s mission and its young warriors of hope.

In his heartfelt address, the ambassador expressed deep pride in this humanitarian partnership with Hospital 57357, emphasizing that charitable work is a core pillar of Qatar’s national vision—guided by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, who calls for supporting human dignity and compassion across the globe.
He further noted that the cooperation between Qatar and Egypt in the field of humanitarian and charitable work strengthens the spirit of solidarity and brotherhood between their peoples.

In a moving moment, the ambassador visited a number of young patients, sharing smiles and gifts with them—carrying a message of warmth and hope that whispered, “You are the light, no matter how long the night.”

The celebration concluded with sincere words of gratitude from the hospital’s administration to the State of Qatar for its continuous support, affirming that this act of generosity is more than charity—it is a bridge of mercy linking Doha and the Nile, heart to heart, hope to hope.
