THE Embassy of India in Cairo, in cooperation with the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council and the Alexandria Businessmen’s Association, will organize an India–Egypt Textile Buyer–Seller Meet in Alexandria on 27 October 2026, bringing together leading Egyptian stakeholders in the textile sector and Indian companies to explore new avenues for trade, investment and business cooperation.
The Buyer–Seller Meet will provide an important platform for textile companies, manufacturers, importers, buyers and other industry stakeholders from Alexandria and across Egypt to engage directly with leading Indian textile manufacturers and exporters and explore potential business partnerships.

The Indian delegation will comprise companies representing various segments of the textile value chain, ranging from cotton yarn and denim fabrics to natural and synthetic fibres, yarns, linings and ready-made garments.
Participating companies will showcase their products, capabilities and export opportunities, while holding business-to-business meetings with their Egyptian counterparts to identify and explore areas of mutual commercial interest.
The event is expected to offer valuable opportunities for Egyptian textile companies to access high-quality products and explore new supply-chain partnerships with Indian companies. At the same time, Indian textile exporters will gain deeper insights into the Egyptian market and have the opportunity to develop long-term business relationships with Egyptian partners.
