“I agree with you that we have two challenges in SHUSH whether concerned with infrastructure/suprastructure and the hopeful return of the main population of SHUHA as this depends on the progress of peace negotiations with the Arminian side, replied Mr vice-président Hikmet Hajiyev to “Aldiplomasy”.
In one of his tweets, MR Vice-President visited SHUHA and tweeted, “with this nice family photo in front of Ganja Gate of Shusha castle we finalized conference on the 30th anniversary of UN-Azerbaijan partnership taking place in SHUSHA”.
Mr Hajiyev added that SHUSHA has a special value as the Capital of Azerbaijan and lately dedicated to the “Year of Shusha”, declared by Mr President Ilham Aliyev.
In the same context, the Minister of culture, Anar Karimove said, “Adorned in white, the state wants to make Shusha our top priority”, as he addressed the opening ceremony of the “Shusha Talks” project launched by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture.
Karimove epphasized, “Shusha as the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, will mark its 2nd anniversary of liberation. We are deeply grateful to the Commander-in-Chief and Azerbaijani Army for making us proud. We want to promote the values of Shusha through the “Shusha Talks” project, and will attract journalists, bloggers and historians”.
The Minister of culture added that that is just the beginning. Azerbaijan will hold the similar discussions during the year. We are also planning to develop the project in the coming years if it will be a success. The involvement of civil society in the project is crucial”.
Minister Karimov underlined that the next round of discussions is planned to be held in Shusha.
