Cairo, 08 May 2021 – In the spirit of ‘Team Europe’, the European Union in Egypt, the Embassy of Germany in Cairo and the European Investment Bank provide support to over 2000 Egyptian families in Qena, Sohag, and Kafr El-sheikh governorates.
The ‘Team Europe’ solidarity initiative is coinciding with Europe Day celebrations, celebrated annually on 09 May. The initiative is conducted in cooperation with ‘Misr El Kheir’ Foundation, through distributing ‘Solidarity boxes’ filled with basic sustenance needs during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
