The Local Development Ministry said Wednesday that 18 technological centers that serve citizens were upgraded in Qena and Sohag.
A new automation system has been activated and the employees have been trained to use computers.
Spokesman for the Ministry Khaled Qassem said they are keen on improving the efficiency of government services in the two Upper Egyptian cities.
The Ministry is also seeking to activate the one-stop-shop system with the aim to improve services offered to citizens and save their time.
