Sudents of KSA won 138 international awards and medals at GIEI

His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, congratulated the wise leadership – may God support it – on the occasion of the sons and daughters of the Kingdom winning 138 international awards and medals. 8 medals for male and female general education students and 130 awards and medals for university education students, during their participation in the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions (GIEI) 2024, whose 49th edition was held in Geneva, and is considered one of the most important and largest international exhibitions in the field of invention and innovation.

Minister Al-Benyan thanked the leadership for its unlimited support for education, nurturing the talented and creative sons and daughters of the nation, and developing the capabilities of male and female students, in order to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the human capabilities development program.

He explained that the efforts of the Ministry of Education in cooperation with its partners in the public and private sectors have resulted in the excellence and great progress achieved by the Kingdom’s students in representing the Kingdom in international scientific forums, considering this great achievement as evidence of the quality of education in the Kingdom and its care for talent and creativity, which contributes to serving the nation and achieving Progress and leadership in the field of science and technology.

His Excellency congratulated the Kingdom’s male and female students, their families and teachers on the honorable results they achieved during their participation in the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, during which they presented, in the name of the nation, a group of innovations in various scientific and technical fields in which they represented the Kingdom.

He also thanked the participating students’ public schools, private sector schools, and universities for what they provide to serve the goals of education in the Kingdom and achieve its ambitions.
