Winds of Peace Over Sinai… The World Gathers in Sharm El-Sheikh

In a moment heavy with history and hope, the Egyptian Presidency announced the list of nations and leaders who have confirmed their participation in the upcoming Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit — a gathering set to echo far beyond the shores of the Red Sea.
According to the official statement, the countries and organizations taking part so far include the United States, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India, Bahrain, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Azerbaijan, Spain, Armenia, and Hungary, alongside the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Secretary-General of the Arab League, and the President of the European Council.
Amid this distinguished constellation of leaders, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is set to hold a bilateral meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the summit — a dialogue that observers believe could help shape the tone of the region’s next diplomatic chapter.
The summit’s program will feature a joint plenary session, bringing together presidents and prime ministers from across continents in a rare display of multilateral engagement, reflecting Egypt’s pivotal role as a bridge between worlds and a voice of equilibrium in times of turbulence.
Both President El-Sisi and President Trump are expected to deliver formal statements during the proceedings, addressing the assembled leaders and the watching world with messages that may redefine the language of peace in a region long yearning for stability.
As the winds sweep softly over Sinai, Sharm El-Sheikh once again becomes a theater of diplomacy — a place where ancient sands meet the new hopes of nations, and where the search for peace takes center stage beneath the eternal sky of Egypt.
