The Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding with Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.; It aims to launch the fifth edition of the “Samsung Innovation Program”, which aims to provide beneficiaries with the necessary skills to employ artificial intelligence technologies in the Kingdom.

 The fifth edition of the global educational program comes with the participation of 85 trainees in the field of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, as the Misk Foundation, represented by the Misk Skills Track, and Samsung Company seek to empower and develop youth energies, and provide Saudi competencies with the necessary knowledge and skills that develop them in their careers, and raise the level of Beneficiaries and support the use of technology and its growth in the future.

The program includes a 12-week journey, 320 hours of training, and a graduation project at the end of the program; This reflects Misk’s vision of empowering youth and preparing them for the technology-based labor market.

In her turn, the General Director of Skills Misk, Asmaa Al-Jasser, stressed the importance of supporting technology-based transformation in the Kingdom, and said: “We look forward in the Mohammed bin Salman “Misk” Foundation to the outputs of cooperation with Samsung, especially since the program will support technology-based transformation in various sectors and its application in Kingdom, which is reflected in the development of national cadres in the field of artificial intelligence.

 It is noteworthy that the Skills Misk track seeks to achieve one of the strategic goals of the Misk Foundation, which is to create 10,000 jobs by startups supported or launched through the foundation’s programs.
