On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister (CPPM)- may God protect him -, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, leaves today for the Republic of South Africa to head the Kingdom’s delegation participating in the BRICS dialogue Plus, and BRICS Africa), under the slogan “Partnership for Accelerated Growth, Sustainable Development, and Inclusive Multilateralism”, which was held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, in Johannesburg.
The BRICS Plus and BRICS Africa dialogue will discuss many developments on the international scene and the challenges the world is witnessing. It will also discuss sustainable solutions to the challenges the world is witnessing, including BRICS issues and the Global South to build mutually beneficial partnerships in a multipolar world.
On the sidelines of the summit, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs will hold a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of brotherly and friendly countries participating in the BRICS Plus and BRICS Africa dialogues.
The Kingdom’s delegation includes the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for various international affairs, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Rassi, the Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Rahman Al-Daoud, and the Director General of International Organizations, Shaher Al-Khonaini.
