Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Matar, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the League of Arab States, expressed his pride and honor in the Kingdom’s participation—alongside his brother, H.E. Ambassador Imad Al-Din Adawi—in the launch of a humanitarian project aimed at supporting Sudanese patients suffering from kidney failure in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The initiative was inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, and is generously funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, with a total contribution of USD 3.6 million.
This vital medical and humanitarian effort reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to supporting the Sudanese people and strengthening regional solidarity and cooperation through impactful and life-saving initiatives.
