DR. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, received Ambassador Angelina Eichhorst, the European Union Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the Cairo Governorate General Headquarters. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for strengthening joint cooperation between Cairo Governorate and the European Union, opening new horizons for bilateral partnership to support development efforts and achieve sustainable development goals.
The discussion highlighted Cairo’s current development priorities, along with the strategic initiatives being implemented by the governorate. They also reviewed future plans designed to upgrade services and improve the quality of life for citizens, with the Governor showcasing the most prominent projects currently underway across various sectors.
