The first session of the series was held under the title “From CAPITAL to CHINA.” The International Relations Office hosted Youssef Osama Mahrous Qubaisi, a teaching assistant in the Spinning and Weaving Department at the Faculty of Applied Arts and a master’s student at Jiangnan University in China. He noted that enabling students and faculty members to learn from successful international experiences contributes to building a generation capable of competing in global academic environments. He added that the university strongly encourages its students and researchers to benefit from international scholarship and academic exchange programs in order to transfer knowledge and expertise and further develop the education and research system.
For his part, Dr. Emad Abu El-Dahab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, stated that such initiatives represent an important pillar in supporting graduate studies and scientific research. They help introduce students and researchers to international scholarship opportunities and application procedures, while enabling them to benefit from the experiences of colleagues who have already pursued academic and research paths at international universities. He added that exchanging expertise with global academic institutions opens wide horizons for joint research collaboration and enhances the university’s standing in international rankings.
