Attended by the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)  Mr Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, the Saudi National Band and Choir performed in the Arab Music Festival currently being held in Cairo.

The participation of the Saudi National Band and the choir in its performances at the Mohammed Abdel Wahab Theater at the Arab Music Institute varied between national songs and a lyrical medley of Saudi folkloric, traditional and modern songs, with the participation of 16 Saudi instrumentalists and choir, which reflect the Saudi culture, and won the admiration of the audience.

The Acting CEO of the Music Authority, head of the delegation, Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Bazai, indicated on this occasion that the Music Authority aims, through its participation in the festival, to enhance international cultural exchange, spread Saudi musical culture, and intensify the presence of the music sector in prestigious international cultural forums.

Al-Bazai said: This is the first participation of the Saudi band in the Arab Music Festival, noting the successes achieved by the band, despite its recent founding, by playing with international bands, the last of which was in Paris.

The designated CEO of the Music Authority explained that the band will have an intensive training program in the next two years to develop its performance and playing capabilities. To represent Saudi music in all forums around the world
