LPTA of Saudi Arabia invites local and international publishing houses to participate in the Eastern Region Book Fair 2023

The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority in the Kingdom announced the opening of registration for publishing houses wishing to participate in the Eastern Region Book Fair 2023, which will be held from 2-11 March next, calling on local and international publishing houses to submit their applications to participate in the exhibition via the electronic link: https: //engage.moc.gov.sa/reg_form/tracks/1530/new During the registration period that ends on Tuesday, January 10.
The exhibition represents a cultural window that includes local and international literature, publishing and translation makers; To present to readers and those interested their latest books and literary publications, in addition to what is included in its cultural program of accompanying cultural events and activities, which include lectures, cultural workshops, seminars in which elite experts and intellectuals participate, poetry evenings, and a children’s corner that contains educational, training and entertainment corners for children; To provide an integrated cultural experience targeting different segments of society.
The Eastern Region Book Fair is the first exhibition in the Kingdom for the new year 2023 as part of the “Book Fairs” initiative, which was launched by the Commission for Literature, Publishing and Translation as part of its strategy with the aim of expanding the organization of book fairs in various regions of the Kingdom. Al-Munawwarah Book Fair in June, then the Riyadh International Book Fair at the end of September, before closing it recently at the Jeddah Book Fair.
