The project will cover 25 Afghan states, and 47,400 food baskets will be distributed to the 28,400 beneficiaries of the project.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center also launched a project to distribute food aid to those affected by the floods and the most needy families in Afghanistan for the year 2022-2023, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, with a total value of $3 million.

After the inauguration, 550 food baskets were distributed at the headquarters of the Afghan Red Crescent Society in Kabul, benefiting 550 families.

This comes within the framework of the efforts of the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to stand with the brotherly Afghan people and alleviate the suffering of those affected by the flood disaster in various cities and provinces in Afghanistan.
