Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, participates in the Women in Defense programme, which comes within the program of the World Defense Exhibition in its second edition 2024, which is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – at the beginning of next February, and aims to enhance and enable women’s participation and celebrate their role in this field.

Her Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar, who chairs the program, explained that the Kingdom attaches great importance to promoting and supporting women’s work in all sectors, including the defense and security sectors, noting that what the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 called for is through empowering women and accelerating their integration into many areas within the labor market. Saudi Arabia, as these trends contributed to achieving many successful models of women’s work and their excellence at various levels.

Her Highness indicated that these programs are working to create global momentum that reflects the Kingdom’s government’s interest in all aspects of empowering and enhancing women’s participation, and that the “Women in Defense” program provides a distinctive platform that enhances opportunities to add to that success.

It is noteworthy that the program hosts female CEOs and leaders from various countries of the world, to highlight women’s achievements, discuss ongoing challenges, and learn how they contribute to the defense sector worldwide through a series of seminars and discussion sessions, as the role of women in international defense will constitute a major topic in today’s discussion sessions.
