The Embassy of Tajikistan in Cairo organized a cultural exhibition this evening that deals with Tajik antiquities and the picturesque natural scenes in Tajikistan..

Ambassador MirzaZada ​​Parviz, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Egypt, expressed his sincere happiness with the exhibition that documents bilateral relations with Egypt due to the common ties it includes between the two countries.. and in accordance with the directives of the Egyptian and Tajik leaderships. And that Tajik students at Al-Azhar receive all kinds of Egyptian support and their number reaches 200 students and is subject to increase. There is a college for teaching the Arabic language at one of the universities of Tajikistan.

In the same context, the Director of the National Museum of Tajikistan .. Executive Office of the President of the Republic, Mr. Ibrahim Zafarsho Savo praised the contents of the exhibition, especially those related to Tajik religious and other antiquities and the common ties between Egypt and Tajikistan..

Savo added that the educational curricula in Tajikistan address the Egyptian Pharaonic civilization.

The Director of the National Museum added that his country’s policy is based on the theory of the continuity of civilizations and not the clash of civilizations.

Journalists, media professionals, intellectuals and others participated in the celebration of the exhibition, where they listened to the commentary of the tour guide Mr. Ali Zarifi on most of the exhibition’s paintings, for example:

* The golden crown.. It dates back to the first and second centuries BC, and the word crown refers to the first half of (Taj) of Yakistan.. and the same goes for Tajikibin.. meaning that the people of (T/T) Yakistan are crowned with a crown.

* Gold pieces and bracelets known as Amu Darya and discovered by the locals of the Oxus River..

* Archaeological tombs, which indicate the courage and freedom of the Tajik people..

* A statue of a woman dating back to the first and second centuries AD in the south of the country, referring to the Greek era..

* A statue of Buddha, 16 m long and weighing 5 tons, refers to the Buddhist religion in Tajikistan at that time..

* Gold, copper and silver castings, referring to the eight states and the first Tajik state, including the phrase “To God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God” engraved on them in Arabic in Kufic script..

* The wooden altar.. dates back to the tenth century AD and is inscribed with the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which emphasizes the importance and virtue of praying in the first row and the Takbir al-Ihram.

The exhibition also included pictures of the presidents of Egypt and Tajikistan, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and President Emomali Rahmon in reference to the bilateral relations between the two countries.. as well as scenes of the picturesque nature, towering mountains and nature reserves such as the Arbaeen Reserve in Tajikistan.
