Middle East Peace: China’s Four-Point Proposal
Addressing the ongoing tensions in the region, President Xi underscored the necessity of an immediate comprehensive ceasefire, respect for sovereignty, and diplomatic conflict resolution. He outlined a Four-Point Proposal to resolve the Palestinian question—the core issue of the Middle East conflict:
| # | Principle | Core Action |
| 1 | Political Settlement | Resume peace talks under the Two-State Solution to establish an independent Palestinian state. |
| 2 | Palestinians Governing Palestine | Enforce “Palestinians governing Palestine” for post-war West Bank governance and Gaza reconstruction. |
| 3 | Humanitarian Commitment | Urge the international community and UN Security Council to protect civilians and deliver aid safely. |
| 4 | Justice and Fairness | Secure a lasting solution addressing root causes through practical action under international law. |
King Abdullah II praised China’s balanced stance, emphasizing that Beijing’s influence is critical for de-escalating the crisis and restoring regional stability.
