Islamabad, 29 July 2025 — In a swift and compassionate response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Palestine, the Government of Pakistan has announced the immediate dispatch of critical aid, as per the directive of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

The Prime Minister has entrusted Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), with coordinating the relief operation. Two chartered cargo aircraft, each with a capacity of 100 tons, are being mobilized to deliver urgently needed rations and sustenance supplies to the Palestinian people.

The flights, scheduled for departure within the next 48 hours, will route through Jordan and Egypt to ensure swift and secure access to the affected regions. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, along with senior NDMA officials, will oversee the departure of the aid flights from Islamabad.

On the ground, Pakistan’s Ambassadors in Jordan and Egypt will supervise the reception and onward distribution of the relief to the West Bank and other Palestinian territories, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to those most in need.

This initiative reaffirms Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people and providing meaningful support during this time of profound hardship.
