Commissioned by His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States (LAS), Ambassador Mohand Saleh Lajouzi, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Director-General of the Arab Fund for Technical Aid to African Countries, participated, on behalf of His Excellency, in the official inauguration ceremony of His Excellency President Othman Ghazali as President of the United Republic of the Comoros (URC), He attended. The inauguration ceremony, which took place in Moroni, the capital of the United Republic of the Comoros, on the morning of Sunday, May 26, 2024, was attended by a number of heads of state and government, foreign ministers and representatives of countries.
During his participation in this official ceremony, Ambassador Mohand Saleh Lajouzi conveyed to His Excellency the warm and sincere greetings of Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit. He also renewed His Excellency’s congratulations to him on the occasion of his re-election as head of the United Republic of the Comoros and expressed His Excellency’s wishes for all success in performing his noble and lofty duties. . He also took the opportunity of this meeting to confirm to His Excellency the full readiness, firm determination and firm will of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States to consolidate the existing fraternal relations between the League of Arab States and the United Republic of the Comoros.
