On the national level, Sultan Qaboos expressed his satisfaction with the efforts exerted by the government and all sectors of the country to continue the comprehensive development process throughout the country and to preserve the social aspects of the citizens.
He praised the completion of the new Muscat International Airport project and what it will offer to the world as well as other airports in the Sultanate.
He also praised the development witnessed by roads and ports, praising the role of ministries in the implementation of plans and programs, which led to achieving greater growth in various sectors such as tourism sector, fisheries sector, mining sector and renewable energy sector in order to diversify sources of income. .
Sultan Qaboos stressed the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors to contribute a greater role in the establishment of productive projects that provide many job opportunities and create suitable conditions for Omani cadres in order to join those opportunities and stability.
On the other hand, he praised the military exercises between the Sultanate and the United Kingdom «Al-Shamoukh (strength)2 & Al-Safe Al-Sarei (express sword) 3», which contributed to the exercise of upgrading the capabilities of the armed forces and the exchange of experience and training on the latest types of weapons and equipment.
