Aِmongst 7 famous Egyptians, TOTAL: 2 finalists of ” TOTAL MAN OF THE MATCH” Trophy design contest

TOTAL as the main partner of African football and title sponsor of the famous Total Africa Cup Of Nations has launched a design contest amongst 7 famous Egyptian artists. One of them will be the next designer of the Total Man Of The Match trophy for the Total AFCON Egypt 2019.
Total Football Together – the animation program of the brand football activation in Africa – celebrates the passion of football in all its forms: art, dance, music and style. In this context, Total wanted to put the artistic dimension at the heart of sports performances by offering artists the possibility to design the “Total Man of the Match” trophy. While their designs shared common guidelines such as the representation of football and Africa, the winning trophy will be selected based on its progressive design and eloquent vision.
After reviewing the creative work, the jury, comprised of CAF, LOC, Lagardère and Total representatives as well as the renowned Egyptian artist and art professor Mr. Farghally Abdelhafiz, gathered at the Zamalek art Gallery in Cairo the day of the Total AFCON draw.
After a vote, they selected Hassan Kamel and Hani El Sayed as the two finalists. Both of them already have a strong artistic background and had handled many exhibitions in Egypt and abroad.
The final winner is set to be selected based on votes on Total Football Together’s social media accounts and will be announced on the 2nd of May. The winning trophy will be given for the very first time to the Total Man of the Match on the 21st of June, opening date of the Total Africa Cup Of Nations Egypt 2019.
