In a moving gesture that celebrates determination, learning, and cultural connection, three blind Egyptian students have been honored for their outstanding progress in mastering the Turkish language at the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Centre in Cairo.

Their remarkable achievement earned them cash awards and a special invitation to Ankara, where they will immerse themselves in the living spirit of Turkish culture—visiting mosques, listening to the soulful recitations of the sala and ezan in Turkish, and attending theatre performances and musical concerts.

For two of the students, this journey will mark their first time ever boarding a plane—a dream long deferred, now brought to life through knowledge and willpower.

During their visit, they are also expected to tour Turkish educational and social centres for the blind, offering them new insights and connections with peers who share their path of perseverance.

This touching initiative embodies the cultural and humanitarian bridge between Egypt and Turkey, where the language of the heart transcends sight, and learning becomes a light that guides souls across borders.
