Continuing Azerbaijan’s celebrations on the first anniversary of the country’s liberation from the yoke of Armenian colonialism, President Ilham Aliyev participated on the 4th of this month in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for a middle and high school in the name of Mehdi Mehdizadeh in the city of Gabriel liberated from the Armenian occupation.
The school has a capacity of 960 students and will replace the old school with a 145-year-old daughter, in addition to plans to establish 3 middle schools and another new secondary school in the city of Gabriel. It is worth noting that the destroyed school was built in 1876 AD.
*..and a central hospital
President Ilham Aliyev also laid the cornerstone of a central hospital in Gabriel, liberated from the Armenian occupation.. This came through a celebration on this occasion.
The new central hospital is located – according to the plan of the main provincial capital, Gabriel – in the south of the city. It has an area of 2.6 hectares and a capacity of 150 beds.
*..a large residential area
In the same context, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for a residential neighborhood with many apartments, the first in the city of Gabriel liberated from the Armenian occupation.
According to AZERTAC, President Aliyev was informed that the new residential neighborhood will occupy an area of 10.5 hectares, and in the first phase 5 buildings will be built in it to accommodate about 200 families or 654 residents.
It is known that the province of Gabriel was inhabited by 52 thousand people before the Armenian occupation, and their number reached 82 thousand people now.
