Accompanied by the grand imam, president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi celebrates prophet Muhammad’s birth

Accompanied by the Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Sheikh Ahmad El Tayyeb , President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the Ministry of Religious Endowments’ celebrations, marking Prophet Muhammad’s Birth, in Al Manara Hall in New Cairo.

The Grand Imam of Al Azhar, Sheikh Ahmad El Tayyeb, gifted President El-Sisi a copy of the Holy Quran. The President delivered a speech on the occasion, in which he congratulated the Egyptian people as well as all Arab and Muslim peoples , praying Allah the Almighty for the recurrence of this occasion with welfare and blessings on us and the entire world.

President El-Sisi honored a number of figures and scholars and greeted Dr. Ahmad Omar Hashim, one of Al Azhar’s honorable scholars.
