‘Almosafer’ Co. strengthens its partnership with Saudi Tourism Authority to attract more tourists

Dubai – The Saudi Tourism Authority signed a partnership agreement with Almosafer, the leading travel company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a subsidiary of the Seera Group, with the aim of promoting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its various tourist destinations through its various companies under the umbrella of Almosafer.

Under the agreement signed on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market 2023 in Dubai, Almosafer will promote tourist destinations throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries through its platform dedicated to individual reservations, while each of the ” Mawasem”, the leading company specialized in providing Hajj and Umrah services; And “Discover Saudi Arabia”, the leading destination management company in the Kingdom, is tasked with promoting the Kingdom by attracting clients from business sectors and government agencies throughout the Middle East and North Africa region.

The agreement was signed by Fahad Al-Obailan, Chief Tourism Officer at Almosafer; Munira Abanomy, Director of the Partnerships and Marketing Department at the Saudi Tourism Authority for the Middle East and Africa, at the Saudi Pavilion at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.

On this occasion, Abdul Karim Al-Darwish, CEO of the Middle East and Africa markets at the Saudi Tourism Authority, said: “The Saudi Tourism Authority is keen to conclude fruitful agreements and strategic partnerships with major travel companies in the Kingdom, looking forward to achieving our common strategic goals. And work to enable and accelerate business growth for our partners in the tourism sector in the Kingdom, and the authority seeks, through the agreement with the “Al Musafer” company, to participate in the development of paths and programs aimed at attracting qualitative and new segments from the Middle East and African markets.

For his part, Fahd Al-Obailan, Chief Tourism Officer at Almosafer, said: “We continue to work on strengthening the long-term relationship between Almosafer and the Saudi Tourism Authority, and to work together to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Thanks to the abundance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys.” Saudi Arabia in terms of cultural, natural, historical and religious attractions, we have witnessed a remarkable growth in the number of international visitors to the Kingdom. This is in addition to the significant increase in the demand for domestic tourism. I would also like on this occasion to be keen on ‘Almosafer’ to continue its role in enabling this growth and ensuring its sustainability.

This agreement comes in the wake of the recent disclosure of Almosafer’s efforts, in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority, to push local tourism and strengthen their existing partnership, which resulted in launching many successful initiatives aimed at developing the tourism sector in the Kingdom.

Based on its well-established position as a leading tourism company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Almosafer supports the goals set by the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its tourism agenda, which aims to develop the tourism sector to account for 10% of the Kingdom’s GDP, receive 100 million visitors and 30 million pilgrims annually by 2030.
