Ambassador Suha Gendi, Minister of State for Immigration and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, stated that there has been coordination with the various ministries and institutions of the Egyptian state, and stability on the axes and sessions of the conference, confirming the development of the final agenda to allow effective participation of Egyptians abroad and responding to all their inquiries and proposals, stressing the interest of the political leadership in involving Egyptians abroad. In turn, the Minister of Immigration added that there are many topics for discussion within the social axis sessions, including: coordination with the Ministry of Social Solidarity regarding the establishment of a fund or insurance policy and social care for Egyptians abroad, and strategies for extending the insurance umbrella to include all spectrums of Egyptians abroad, as well as reviewing efforts The Ministry of Immigration, in coordination with the National Authority for Social Insurance, to announce its services among the communities to obtain the right to social insurance, and the latest developments about the launch of the Egyptians Abroad application, in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Immigration to link Egyptians abroad with their home country.

Ambassador Suha Gendi continued that the service axis will discuss the role of Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad and the services they provide to expatriates, conscription settlements and presentation of new facilities for Egyptian youth abroad in cooperation between the Ministry of Defense, Foreign Affairs and Immigration, as well as possible facilities to facilitate the issuance of identification papers (passports and national ID cards). In cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior.

The Minister of Immigration indicated that the sessions of the economic and investment axis include an overview of the performance of the Egyptian economy and the monetary and banking policies of the state in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and what has been achieved for Egyptians abroad in terms of customs exemption for cars, and mechanisms for offering various investment banking products and promoting them well in cooperation with the Federation of Banks. The Minister of Immigration stated that the conference will witness an extensive discussion on ways to promote investment opportunities available in Egypt, which could be of interest and attraction, and mechanisms for developing communication channels between the state and Egyptian investors abroad to find more efficient and effective solutions for investors.
