The Arab Republic of Egypt welcomes the accession of the friendly Republic of Indonesia to the BRICS group as a full member, and looks forward to its participation in all axes of the group’s work to enrich and enhance cooperation in various areas of common interest and to achieve the desired development for our peoples, especially in light of the convergence of positions and visions on many topics and issues on the group’s agenda, especially economic, financial and monetary cooperation.
The Arab Republic of Egypt also affirms that Indonesia’s accession to the group represents an additional bridge for cooperation between the two countries, which enjoy historical and distinguished relations at all levels and official and popular levels.
