Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, received this morning, Wednesday, 12/2/2025, Dr. Magdy Al-Shaibani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Academy for Communications and Informatics, at the headquarters of the Arab Academy in Smart Village, to develop a program for partnership between the two academies to provide advisory services related to institutional building and development, digital transformation and cybersecurity, and to research and enhance ways of joint cooperation in the field of digital transformation and specialized training areas in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and information security.
Besides, working to explore various opportunities to develop joint training programs that work to achieve the strategy of the Libyan communications sector and achieve the goals of sustainable development to enhance the quality of life. This was attended by Eng. Ahmed Sharaf, Managing Director of the Academy for Information and Communications Technology.
The meeting also aimed to discuss ways to develop the human capabilities necessary for digital transformation strategies for the government and private sectors, and to contribute to training school students for the Libyan and International Informatics Olympiad competitions and preparing joint training camps for the Egyptian and Libyan teams.
In addition to working on establishing training camps for recent graduates and job seekers and qualifying them to enter the labor market and occupy distinguished future jobs.
