Local and national Turkish retail chains continue their steady growth and expansion in Egypt, with *Colin’s*, one of the fastest-growing brands in the country, opening its 16th store at Cairo Festival City Mall.

The Turkish Ambassador to Cairo, H.E. Salih Mutlu Şen, confirmed that Turkish retail brands are rapidly expanding their presence in Egypt. Colin’s, a well-known brand that manufactures in both Turkey and Egypt, inaugurated its new store in the presence of Ambassador Şen, mall executives, and senior representatives from Colin’s. The Cairo Festival City branch stands as one of the largest Colin’s stores in Egypt, covering an area of 750 square meters.

Colin’s officials emphasized that all items in the store are designed as Turkish products under a Turkish brand, manufactured exclusively in Turkey, Egypt, and other international locations. The stores exclusively sell under the “Colin’s” trademark, upholding Turkish quality and branding standards.

Ambassador Şen highlighted that Colin’s, along with LC Waikiki and DeFacto, has entered the Egyptian market with 100% Turkish investment. These stores are managed directly by their parent companies in Turkey, covering the entire chain from design to production.

He expressed hope that Colin’s will continue its expansion beyond its 16th store, expecting the total number of outlets to reach between 40 and 50. He added that LC Waikiki currently operates around 40 stores in Egypt, while DeFacto has over 20.

Ambassador Şen noted that what distinguishes these brands from others is their dual role as both retailers and manufacturers, backed by 100% Turkish capital. Egyptian consumers, he said, appreciate the quality and value of Turkish brands. Such investments reflect the mutually beneficial trade relationship between the two countries, with some goods produced locally in Egypt, fostering economic integration and bilateral cooperation.

Colin’s representatives added that the company plans to open more stores soon, with ongoing investments in Qantara and the ready-made garment sector progressing according to schedule.
