The Muslim Brotherhood issued an official message to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing full solidarity with the Iranian people and leadership in the face of the recent Israeli military escalation.
In its statement, the group conveyed heartfelt condolences for the loss of Iranian leaders, scholars, and civilians, describing them as martyrs in the struggle against aggression and injustice.
“We affirm our complete support for the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting the brutal Israeli aggression, and we offer our sincere condolences for the martyrdom of all leaders, scholars, and Iranian citizens targeted in these assaults,” the statement read.
The Brotherhood emphasized that the Israeli attacks on Iran represent a significant and dangerous shift—an extension of the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people and their legitimate resistance. The statement framed this as a unified front, stressing that such assaults are not isolated acts of war, but a broader strategy to dismantle the pillars of resistance in the region.
“The Israeli aggression against Iran is not a standalone event—it marks a new phase in the campaign against Palestine. We view ourselves as one nation, united by faith, history, civilization, and a shared geopolitical struggle.”
Importantly, the Brotherhood underscored its belief that the fires of occupation do not discriminate. By doing so, the group appealed to all sectors of the Muslim world—across sectarian and ethnic lines—to understand that the assault targets both the ideological and structural foundations of resistance.
“The fires of occupation do not distinguish between our races or sects. As efforts continue to suppress the steadfast Palestinian resistance, there is a calculated move to expand aggression toward those who serve as incubators of resistance—whether sovereign states like the Islamic Republic, or Islamic movements rooted in popular legitimacy, such as the Muslim Brotherhood.”
This framing reflects a pan-Islamic identity, deliberately transcending sectarian divides and signaling unity in the face of what is portrayed as a shared existential threat. The Brotherhood subtly positions itself as a key actor in the resistance front, equating its ideological mission with the strategic depth of regional states like Iran.
The statement concluded with a call to all free peoples, Islamic movements, and political actors around the world to uphold unity, reject aggression, and defend the dignity of the oppressed.
“The unity of our cause requires clarity, resolve, and solidarity. The time has come to recognize that the struggle of Palestine and the siege of resistance are not local issues—they are a test of the conscience of the entire world.”
