Poetry: Ashraf AboArafe
From the heart of history, I was born —
The Grand Egyptian Museum, reborn in light.
Time itself inscribed my name,
A promise kept through the ages bright.
From the Pyramids and the Sphinx, the dream began,
The stones rejoiced, their silence sang —
The Pyramids danced with joy,
And the Sphinx whispered:
“Oh night… oh eyes…”
Egypt — the heart of the world,
I am the tale that never ends.
Send your peace upon Taha, the Chosen One, (PBUH)
O Egypt, enchantress of time,
Civilization of seven thousand years before the dawn of Christ.
Every grain of your sand proclaims:
“This is the Land of Prophets,
The path of the Holy Family.”
And the mystery of the Pharaohs —
Still today, the world stands in awe,
Unable to break their sacred codes.
I am the Grand Egyptian Museum,
Born of stone and soul,
I am the tale that never ends.
