The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli occupation’s resumption of its aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in deaths and injuries, including children and women. Qatar considers it a blatant challenge to the international will to support peace, including the ceasefire agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns that the occupation’s escalating policies will ultimately ignite the region and undermine its security and stability. In this regard, it stresses the urgent need to resume dialogue to implement the stages of the ceasefire agreement and end the war on the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry notes that the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip have reached unprecedented levels in human history, requiring urgent action from the international community to provide the necessary protection for the Palestinian people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the State of Qatar’s firm position on the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
