Today, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz visited the French frigate “Chevalier Paul” in the Mediterranean Sea, south of France. Upon his arrival, His Highness was received by His Excellency the Minister of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, Sébastien Lecornu.
After that, an official reception ceremony was held, during which the guard of honor was reviewed, and the national anthem of the two countries was played.
His Highness the Minister of Defense witnessed an air defense exercise with the participation of a number of Rafale aircraft. During the exercise, His Highness was given an explanation that included its defense capabilities and capabilities, and the sophisticated and advanced technologies and equipment it contains. Then he went to the command tower of the frigate, and wrote a word in the frigate’s visitor log.
Then His Highness was briefed by the frigate operations center on how to manage naval maneuvers and communicate with air, surface and subsurface units.
During the visit, His Highness the Minister of Defense was accompanied by His Excellency the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Biyari, the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense, Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, and the Fleet Commander.
Western Rear Admiral Mansour bin Saud Al-Jaeed, and the military attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Paris and Bern, Brigadier General Nasser bin Ibrahim Al-Mutawa.
