نحن نؤمن أن الإعلام يجب أن يقف على مسافة واحدة من جميع الأطراف السياسية، وأن يُعامل جميع الأديان بعين الاحترام والعدالة. فالإعلام الحقيقي هو مرآة صادقة تعكس الواقع كما هو، دون تضخيم أو تقليل. وهذا ليس تفضّلًا، بل حق أصيل لكل قارئ ومشاهد ومستمع.
ولا يمكن تحقيق الرخاء والوئام والسلام الوطني إلا إذا تقاربت المكونات السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية للمجتمع في مناخ من الاحترام المتبادل. ولما تورطت بعض وسائل الإعلام الخاصة في ممارسات مشبوهة، كتواطؤها مع أطراف فاسدة، والاستيلاء غير المشروع على أراضي الدولة، والتهرب الضريبي، كان لزامًا علينا أن نقدم نموذجًا يُحتذى به في الاستقلالية والمصداقية والحياد والالتزام الصحفي الإيجابي.
الاستقلالية والمسؤولية التحريرية

This charter must place Egypt’s national interest above all else, followed by the interests of the Islamic and Arab worlds, regardless of the ideological orientation of the ruling regime—whether Islamic, liberal, or secular. The homeland comes first, united in values and a shared vision.
We believe that the media must stand at an equal distance from all political parties and treat all religions with profound respect and fairness. True journalism is an honest mirror reflecting reality as it is, without exaggeration or understatement. This is neither a favor nor a privilege, but an inherent right for every reader, viewer, and listener.
Prosperity, harmony, and national peace can only be achieved when the political, social, economic, and cultural components of society converge in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Given that some private media outlets have engaged in questionable practices—such as collusion with corrupt entities, illicit acquisition of state lands, and tax evasion—it became incumbent upon us to set an exemplary model of independence, credibility, neutrality, and positive journalistic commitment.
