 The Diwan of Royal Court issued a statement, which reads: With great sadness, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq received the news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom. Her rule of seventy years, and that Oman loses a distinguished personality.

 Sultan Haitham bin Tariq issued his lofty orders to fly at half-mast in the public and private sectors and in the embassies of the Sultanate of Oman abroad, for tomorrow, Friday, 9/9/2022AD.
