On his X account, the prime minister of Pakistan tweeted appreciating the azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev’s hospitality as follows:
I had an excellent meeting with my dear brother, President Ilham Aliyev, in Baku today. I thanked him for his warm hospitality, extended to me and my delegation.
Our discussions, held in the most brotherly ambiance, focused on enhancing our bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade, energy, defense, and regional connectivity.
I am happy to share that we also had extensive discussions regarding finalising the portfolio of Azerbaijan investments worth US $2 billion in mutually beneficial projects in Pakistan and I look forward to my dear brother, President Aliyev, visiting Pakistan in April this year to sign historic agreements involving this investment.
We expressed our shared commitment and resolve to strengthen the Pakistan-Azerbaijan strategic partnership, which not only benefits our two nations but also contributes to regional peace and prosperity.
