Appreciating Oman’s cooperation.. Immigration Minister receives Omani Ambassador to visit Egyptian community in Oman

Yesterday, Ambassador Nabila Makram Abdel Shahid Minister of expatriates, received Omani Ambassador Dr. Ali Al-Eisaei to Egypt and her Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.The Minister started the meeting by welcoming him to visit the headquarters of the Ministry of Immigration, praising the strategic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Nabila Makram appreciated the efforts exerted by the Omani authorities to meet the demands of the Egyptian community in the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out that the rate of complaints received by the Ministry is very low, which confirms the efforts of the Omani authorities in meeting the needs of Egyptians.

She also discussed with the ambassador the situation of Egyptians in the Sultanate of Oman, and the ministry’s efforts to link citizens abroad and meet their needs, pointing out that she has made several visits to a number of countries to follow up the situation of Egyptians and deal with any problem faced by any Egyptian abroad through coordination with officials in these countries. Full care for the Egyptian communities, affirming their keenness to visit the Egyptian community in the Sultanate as soon as possible.

For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Esayi, Omani Ambassador to Egypt, expressed his delight to meet the Minister of Immigration, praising her role in linking the Egyptian communities to their homeland and their constant endeavor to care for them and provide them with facilities, and also touched on the Omani experience in caring for Omani citizens living abroad.

At the end of the meeting, the Omani ambassador affirmed that relations with Egypt stem from the spirit of brotherhood and Arabism, pointing out that the interaction between Egyptians and Omanis comes from a single family perspective, especially as Egyptians have the ability to integrate into Omani society and contact their culture, in addition to their contributions in all fields that support the Sultanate’s economy.
