Yesterday, the Korean Cultural Center (KCC) launched a series of Korean drama shows, in which episodes of Korean drama are shown daily throughout the month of Ramadan, starting from nine in the morning until one in the afternoon.

Two of the most popular K-dramas are scheduled to premiere, “Kill Me… Heal Me” by Ji Sung, which deals with the love story between a rich family man with 7 personalities, Cha Do Hyun, and his psychiatrist, Oh Ri Jin. The second series, “A Tree With Deep Roots,” is a historical drama directed by Han Suk-kyu, about serial killings that took place over 7 days during the reign of King Sejong, the founder of the Korean language. The series is based on the novel of the same name by famous Korean writer Lee Jung-myung.

The reason behind choosing these two series in particular is that despite their great popularity in Egypt, they are not available online, which represents a good opportunity to enjoy watching them.

Attendees will also be able to participate in the K-Drama Fan Contest by choosing a scene, re-filming it with their friends, and then posting it on Facebook using the hashtag

 #KCCRamadanKDramaMonth.
