His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs (FA), participated in the meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council, held in Brussels, chaired by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr. Josep Borrell.
During the working lunch held at the Foreign Affairs Council, views were exchanged on developments in the Middle East, most notably the situation in the Gaza Strip, and the necessity of working immediately for a ceasefire, and dealing with the effects of the humanitarian catastrophe experienced by the residents of the Strip, with the participation of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Abu Al-Ghait, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Al-Safadi, and His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shukri.
