Today, as the nation celebrates the 27th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer, we humbly thank Allah Almighty for His countless blessings and for granting us another glorious milestone in the face of recent provocations and aggression.
On this day in 1998, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif took a bold and historic decision to conduct peaceful nuclear tests — a move that, despite immense international pressure, rendered Pakistan’s defence truly invincible. This defining moment established Pakistan as a responsible nuclear power and safeguarded our sovereignty for generations to come.
We pay profound tribute to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation of Pakistan’s nuclear programme. His enduring legacy reminds us of the power of foresight and national will.
We salute our brilliant scientists, engineers, and technical experts whose unparalleled dedication turned the dreams of the Pakistani people into reality. Their work remains a shining symbol of our collective resolve and intellectual excellence.
We also honour the valiant men and women of our Armed Forces. Their unwavering vigilance and sacrifices continue to secure our borders and uphold our nation’s peace and dignity.
In the same spirit of resolve and unity that defined Youm-e-Takbeer, we reaffirm our pledge to transform Pakistan into a strong economic and technological power — a nation admired for its resilience, unity, and progress.
Pakistan Paindabad. InshaAllah.
