Pakistan has once again extended its hand of compassion to the people of Gaza, as the seventh consignment of humanitarian relief under the current batch touched down at El-Arish International Airport today.
Acting on the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in partnership with Al-Khidmat Foundation, dispatched a special chartered aircraft carrying 100 tonnes of essential relief supplies destined for Gaza’s resilient residents.
The consignment includes:
- Tents
- Medicines
- Blankets
- Jerry cans
Upon arrival, the aid was formally handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, ensuring its onward journey to the people of Gaza.
Pakistan conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the Government of Egypt, led by President H.E. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and to the Egyptian Red Crescent, whose unwavering cooperation continues to make these humanitarian bridges possible.
With today’s delivery, a total of 26 relief consignments, amounting to 2,527 tonnes, have been dispatched to Gaza. Additional consignments are already being prepared and will soon follow—each one a testament to Pakistan’s enduring solidarity with the Palestinian people.
