Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt, H.E. Aamir Shouket, called on H.E. Gohar Nabil, Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, to present the Pakistan-made official World Cup match ball, “Trionda,” and to discuss avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of sports.
During the meeting, Ambassador Shouket presented the official ball to the Minister as a token of friendship and support for the Egyptian national football team ahead of the FIFA World Cup games. He conveyed the warmest wishes from the leadership and people of Pakistan for the team’s success, expressing absolute confidence in Egypt’s strong performance on the global stage.
The two sides exchanged views on promoting sports diplomacy and explored rich opportunities for sports development, including the exchange of expertise, technical knowledge, training programs, and direct institutional collaboration between Pakistan and Egypt.
