AMBASSADOR Alaa Youssef, Chairman of the State Information Service (SIS), and prominent author Ahmed El-Moslemany, President of the National Media Authority (NMA), signed a joint cooperation protocol in the presence of leaders and officials from both institutions. The landmark agreement aims to strengthen institutional integration, facilitate the exchange of expertise, enhance media content quality, and elevate the professional capabilities of media personnel.
Ambassador Youssef emphasized that the protocol marks a pivotal step toward building a sustainable partnership between the SIS and the NMA. By capitalizing on their shared capabilities and accumulated expertise, both organizations seek to modernize their media frameworks and keep pace with the rapid global transformations in the industry.
He highlighted that specialized training and knowledge exchange form the core of this collaboration. The protocol encompasses joint training programs and workshops, expert exchanges, and the utilization of the Maspero Academy’s training facilities. Key areas of focus include digital media, artificial intelligence, language proficiency, media analysis, news bulletin preparation, and editorial layout.
Furthermore, Ambassador Youssef noted that the partnership extends to organizing joint seminars, conferences, and publishing initiatives, while leveraging the extensive library resources of both entities. Expressing his appreciation to Mr. El-Moslemany and the leadership of the NMA, he affirmed that this agreement reflects a unified resolve to advance the Egyptian media ecosystem and reinforce its ability to navigate the dynamic media landscape.
