For common regional challenges.. Foreign Minister delivers a message from preident Sisi to his Algerian counterpart

At the outset of his visit to the Algerian capital, FM Sameh Shoukry met, today, January 9, the Algerian President, Mr. Abdel Majid Taboun, as they discussed bilateral cooperation and common regional challenges.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr Ahmed Hafez,   stated that Minister Shukry delivered a message from his brother Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, during the meeting, and congratulated the Algerian president on assuming his office, in addition to discussing ways to advance bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries, And dealing with common regional challenges, esp. restoration of security and stability in Libya.

Mr Hafez added that President “Taboun” expressed Algeria’s keenness to push forward joint cooperation with sisterly Egypt, coordination and consultation on issues of mutual concern, in light of the regional weight that the two countries enjoy in the region, in order to achieve the interests of both countries and meet aspirations of the two brotherly people.
