Hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Riyadh International Book Fair will take place between March 13 and 23 at the Riyadh Conference Center And exhibitions.
The Ministry of Culture and Information oversees the organization of the Book Fair every year. It is considered one of the largest cultural events in the Kingdom and the best-selling among the Arab exhibitions. The exhibition annually attracts more than 500 thousand visitors, and participates in more than 500 Arabic and international publishing houses. Eighty cultural events, organized by more than 250 organizers.
In addition to the exhibition, cultural events and literary seminars will be hosted by a private hall next to bookstores. The program is a selection of Saudi intellectuals selected annually from different regions of the Kingdom. Each year, the exhibition hosts a country as a guest of honor and presents a unique pavilion for this country to present its history, literature and publications to visitors and have a share of the cultural events and seminars associated with the exhibition.
The Ministry of Information for Cultural Affairs said that the ministry is working to prepare for the exhibition in a way that reflects the Saudi culture and its international standing, and fulfills the aspirations of the people interested in the book industry and publishing it.
