FIFA – Moussa Wague was one of the architects of Senegal’s superb run at the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015 where Les Lionceaux finished fourth. The young right-back won his first senior cap in a March 2017 friendly against Nigeria and started the last match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ qualifiers, a 2-1 home defeat of South Africa that came four days after the Lions of Teranga had booked their world finals place.
