The head of the Suez Canal Authority, Mr. Mohab Mamish, received a delegation from Egypt International University, headed by Major General Ayman Habeddin, the university’s assistant, accompanied by a group of faculty members and students to get acquainted with the new Suez Canal project in the simulation and training center of the Authority in Ismailia. This was stated by the spokesperson of Suez Canal, Mr Tarick Hasanane.

In his speech, the general welcomed the delegation and stressed the interest of the Egyptian state in developing the capabilities of young people and maximizing the benefit of its human wealth as one of the most important elements of the success of the desired development renaissance, which is currently embodied by giant national projects on the ground capable of restoring the economic leadership of beloved Egypt.

The Chairman of the Authority pointed out that the statistics of navigation in the Suez Canal recorded one day after another a big boom in the number and load of ships, which was reflected in the unprecedented increase in revenues, which is the harvest of the Suez Canal project, which succeeded in covering the costs of establishment in record time. The new channel will serve as a channel for good and growth to serve as the infrastructure necessary for the giant national project to develop the Canal Zone and transform it into a logistic center. He stressed the development project in the canal area as a new locomotive for development and a real starting point to change the shape of life in the region by adopting the idea of ​​investing in economic zones and applying modern methods in dealing with goods passing through the Suez Canal. At the end of the visit, the team presented the new Suez Canal Shield to Major General Ayman Habeddin, Assistant to the President of the University. In return, Major General Ayman Habibuddin presented the shield of the University to the Chairman of the Commission. Afterwards, the delegation toured the Suez Canal, followed by a visit to the site of Ismailia tunnels under the canal.
