The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque, in cooperation with the Center for Research and Studies of Madinah, worked to take care of the exhibition of architecture of the Prophet’s Mosque and highlight the architectural aspects of the Prophet’s Mosque, highlight its privacy and status and the virtue of its architecture, raise the level of cultural awareness of Islamic civilization and enrich the visitor’s experience artistically and culturally through a wide presentation It details the history of the architecture of the Prophet’s Mosque, since its first construction by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his honorable companions, may God be pleased with them, and ending with the three Saudi expansions, in addition to introducing visitors to the landmarks of the Prophet’s Mosque, such as the pulpit and the mihrab, domes and umbrellas, doors, call to prayer, muezzins, minarets, lighthouses, squares and a number of services Others offered to visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.

The exhibition is located south of the Prophet’s Mosque on an area of ​​2,200 square meters, where 8 guides work in the exhibition (4) in Arabic, (2) in Urdu and (2) in English. The exhibition presents its content in several languages ​​through murals and interactive screens, and the content of the exhibition is translated into 12 languages And voice translation through the latest technologies that enable the visitor to listen to all the content through the devices designated for this, as the number of visitors in the exhibition reached (2600) visitors.

The times for visiting the exhibition are in two daily periods, the first from 7 am to 12 noon, and the second period from 4 pm to 10 pm.

The exhibition includes a number of modern technologies and interactive screens with visitors that talk about architecture and information related to the Prophet’s Mosque, in addition to television films and a cinema hall. The experience time in the exhibition is approximately 40 minutes, with a total of 30 visitors per tour.

The exhibition of the architecture of the Prophet’s Mosque comes within the objectives of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 in enriching the visitor’s experience and highlighting the aspects of the architecture of the Prophet’s Mosque and the great services it provides.
